| Having successfully completed the Honda development at Silverlink, Newcastle. We were awarded the contract to deliver the Edinburgh showroom. Talbot's worked closely with the client and their design team during the pre construction period to ensure we met the necessary budget restraints. The project includes a number of sustainable / energy saving features such as passive ventilation and rainwater harvesting. |

"WITH OUR EDINBURGH DEALERSHIP BEING THE FIRST IN SCOTLAND TO ADOPT OUR NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY, WE REQUIRED A CONTRACTOR THAT WE COULD TRUST TO DELIVER A FIRST CLASS PRODUCT. AS A RESULT WE WERE CONFIDENT THAT TALBOT CONSTRUCTION HAD THE PROVEN ABILITY, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO CORRECTLY MANAGE A CONTRACT OF THIS SIZE. WITH THE SITE, BEING OVER 400 MILES AWAY FROM OUR OWN OFFICES, IT WAS CRITICAL THAT WE COULD ESTABLISH A CLOSE WORKING RELATIONSHIP THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT AND TO THIS END TALBOT'S FITTED THAT BILL PERFECTLY.
MANY NEW FEATURES, INCLUDING MONO-DRAUGHT VENTILATION TO THE SHOWROOM, WHICH NEGATES THE NEED FOR COSTLY AIR CONDITIONING, HAVE BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THIS PROJECT AND TALBOT'S ABILITY TO SUCCESSFULLY MANAGE THESE IMPORTANT ASPECTS HAS BEEN A SIGNIFICANT FACTOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SMARTEST DEALERSHIP WE HAVE IN THE UK".
GORDON HUNT, PROPERTY MANAGER DEALER DEVELOPMENT, HONDA (UK)
